Simple by Design
If you engage us, you’ll realise we don’t ‘overbuild’ a website. The internet is now a few decades old, and while having an ‘out there’ and creative website can be a point of pride, the reality is your visitors are used to sites working a certain way (called ‘mental models’ in the web design world). Our philosophy is a business website should help your visitors get what they need as quickly and easily as possible while staying true to your brand.
We don’t ‘start from scratch’ for every site.
In 2018, it just doesn’t make sense to ignore the standards developed by other designers and coders over the years just so we can claim a site is ‘one of a kind’. That means building the site is going to be faster and cheaper than a pure-bred website, so your money can be put towards the most neglected – but arguably most important – part of the process: the content.
A focus on Content over Graphic Design
Most web design projects start with the lofty goal of custom designing every page.
What happens a lot of the time is the complete opposite: a bunch of custom templates delivered by the web design company for the business to ‘drop’ the content into (because the business decided to save money by doing the content themselves). The business tries its best to get the content in but it never quite looks and feels right and takes longer than expected.
At Wyatt Media, we accept that content is a big part of a website’s success, and so our new website projects are more focused on crafting the words, images and video that will get attention, pique interest and drive action.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
What good is a new website if no-one can find it?
We say “No Good!”.
As part of every new business website, we incorporate mandatory SEO into every page to give your new site a fighting chance. We also make sure your site is set up with the Google suite of tracking (Google Analytics) and monitoring tools (Google Search Console).
